Supporting the Band

Burton Concert Band have a number of overhead costs to cover each year. While our subs do go some way towards covering these; venue and rehearsal space hire, print materials and insurance all increase in price regularly. To assist in covering costs and keeping the music going, there are several additional ways that businesses, friends and members of Burton Concert Band can support us financially if they wish.

Support us as an individual:

Hear us play and tell your friends!

The easiest way to support your local wind band is to come to our events. Our repertoire changes regularly so you won’t be hearing the same songs every time. Invite your friends, too, the more the merrier! For extra credit, feel free to take a picture or short video and tag us on our social media to show us you enjoyed the music. We play for your enjoyment as well as ours!

Easy fundraising

Over 8,000 brands will donate directly to the band when you shop via the easyfundraising website of app. If you shop at M&S, Argos, Tesco, John Lewis & Partners, eBay, Sainsburys, TUI, Etsy and others, consider signing up for free – it’s quick and easy and the free donations quickly add up! Support us as a Business:

Burton Concert Band are proud to announce our new yearly business sponsorship programme available at the three tiers outlined below. For prices or to apply for the sponsorship scheme, please use our contact form and select “supporting the band” as the enquiry type.

Bronze:

Your company logo printed on our promotional posters. A minimum of two per year.

Verbal acknowledgement during concerts.

Your brand highlighted on social media as a new/returning sponsor and listed on self-hosted events (at least two per year) as a supporter in addition to listing on this supporters page!

Silver:

Everything included in Bronze package, plus the following additions/upgrades:

Display of one company banner at concerts and Band-hosted events (banner to be provided by Sponsor). A minimum of two such events per year.

Two complimentary concert tickets to a band-hosted concert of your choice per year.

Gold:

Everything included in Bronze package, plus the following additions/upgrades:

Option for a reduced fee performance by the Band at one company or sponsored event per year (date and details subject to mutual agreement and Band availability)

Two Complimentary concert tickets for two separate band hosted concerts of your choice per year.

Display of one company banner at concerts and Band-hosted events (banner to be provided by Sponsor). A
minimum of two such events per year.

An A6 advertisement in each band hosted concert programme (artwork/logo supplied by Sponsor).
