Welcome to the site! Burton Concert Band are a wind band of experienced musicians from Burton-upon-Trent, Derby and the surrounding areas. We enjoy a busy calendar of rehearsals, performances, social events and tours working with our professional conductor, Ed Temple.
We celebrated our 30th year in October 2023 and you can hear us play on our YouTube channel or selections in the media section.
We give regular concerts in Burton-upon-Trent and further afield, including a few concert tours abroad! We have been successful in competing in National competitions including a Boosey & Hawkes Gold Medal and the National Wind Band Finals. We’re a friendly and diverse group and our rehearsals are professional-but-fun! You can get involved by joining us at one of our concerts or by joining us as a player.
