Extract from constitution around new members
Membership shall be open to all regardless of gender, sexual orientation, race, religion or disability, providing:
- The prospective member is at least 16 years old. Applicants for membership under the age of 16 will be considered on an individual basis.
- A suitable vacancy exists in the band
- An acceptable level of technical and artistic ability is demonstrated
- The prospective member does not have a conviction for violent or sexual offences against children or adults (current, past or pending)
