Burton Concert Band are thrilled to be performing on Saturday 5th July at Repton Festival 2025. There will be two unique performances starting at 12.00pm and 2.30pm within the Repton Paddock area. Stop by our marquee for a wide range of music – from classical favourites and film scores to contemporary wind band compositions. Join the fabulous Burton Concert Band for live music at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens on Sunday 24th August 2025. We are a 50-strong wind ensemble playing an eclectic mix of popular songs, stage and screen anthems, and traditional wind orchestra repertoire. We will be playing from the bandstand in the centre of the gardens from 2.00pm. This is a free public performance, but the Botanical Gardens do charge for entry. Burton Concert Band return to St John the Evangelist with a new musical selection following our successful and rousing performance in 2024.

Seating is not reserved so come in good time for the best view! Refreshments are available but parking is limited. Please expect to park on the nearby roads or to use Brook St or Ford St parking.

Concert programme

Join the stunning 50 piece Burton Concert Band for an unforgettable evening celebrating the music of John Williams. From riveting marches like Star Wars, to soaring themes of E.T. and Harry Potter and many more memorable anthems. This concert promises to bring the legendary composer’s scores to life. The Cantare Choir, led by Isabel Hurley will be joining us to add voices to some numbers in this concert. Seats are allocated so book now to secure the best view, but don’t worry, the sound will carry to all seats!

Head into Burton Town Centre for entertainment all afternoon leading up to the Christmas lights switch-on in the evening. Stop by the market square at 2pm for a 30-minute set of festive tunes from Burton’s on Concert Band!

Burton Concert band were proud to provide two small groups to play festive tunes for the attendees of the Family Fun Day.

Burton Concert Band are honoured to be playing at the Mayor’s Carol Concert 2025 alongside groups from the Mayor’s chosen local schools with a raffle in aid of the Mayor’s chosen charities.
